What is Open Farm RawMix?

RawMix combines kibble with a bone broth and freeze-dried raw coating plus freeze-dried raw pieces. It is a dry food format, so it does not require thawing like frozen raw food.

What is the difference between RawMix recipes?

Recipes vary in animal proteins, grains and other ingredients. RawMix includes grain-free and ancient-grain options. Compare the complete ingredient list and nutritional information for the recipe you are considering.

Is every RawMix recipe suitable for puppies?

No. Suitability depends on the recipe’s nutritional adequacy statement. Some grain-free recipes exclude growth of dogs expected to weigh 70 lb or more as adults. Choose a recipe specifically appropriate for your puppy’s expected adult size.

How much RawMix should I feed, and how do I switch?

Start with the feeding chart for your exact recipe and account for your dog’s size, activity and extras. Open Farm recommends introducing a new food gradually over at least 7 days, increasing the new food while reducing the previous food.

How should I store an opened bag of RawMix?

Keep it sealed in its original bag in a cool, dry place. Open Farm recommends using opened RawMix within two months for freshness; also follow the printed best-before date and package instructions.
